From the Stage to the Screen
In 2021 Jessa had her first role in a short film called “Woman who blooms at Night” to which she expressed her gratitude and excitement in the experience. Woman Who Blooms at Night is about a young woman who finds her way back to herself by finding her way back to her culture during and after an abusive relationship.
Woman Who Blooms At Night had their first screening at the LA Natives Skins Fest on November 16th 2023. Our very own writer Camaray Davalos was honored and awarded for Achievement in screenwriting
Woman who blooms at night was screened at the Inland film festival april 20, 2024 6:30-8PM.
